Hey! My name’s Jamie Hooper and I’m fanatical about online gambling. I’m a journalist-cum-gambling-expert based in London with more than 15 years’ experience in everything risk-based.
After graduating from Lancaster University with a BA in Linguistics in 2005, I went on to study for a Master's in 2006, and later a PhD in “Phonetics and Phonology” in 2009. I’m something of a swot and have maintained great grades my whole life. Let’s just say, I like to get things right!
Gambling has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s a huge passion for me and is definitely my biggest interest. Let’s be clear on something – the most important thing for me is keeping my hobby in check. If it’s not fun anymore, what’s the point?
